Very Simple Todo is a simple to do list app. Add a todo in a second, check it off, done. No reminders pinging you, no emails about what is left. And if you want, your AI agent reads the list and adds to it for you.
A simple to do list app, fast to add
One orange row at the top of the list. Type the thing, tap plus, it is on there. A big checkbox on every row. Tap it, the todo is done and gone. Open a row if you need a note underneath. That is the interface. No projects, no dates, no setup.
No pings, no mail
The app does not send reminder banners. It does not sit on your lock screen. It does not email you that you have twelve things left. A lot of todo apps want to run your life: daily digests, badges, an AI that nags you from inside the product. This one does not. You open the list when you want. You close it when you don't.

Put the list on the home screen. See what is still open. Tap the plus and you are already typing. You work from the phone, quickly, without opening a whole app if you don't need to.
Your agent, if you want one
Very Simple Todo is not an agent. It will not coach you, chase you, or
pretend to be your assistant. If you already have a favourite, Claude,
Agent Heim, or anything else, they can
connect to the list and work from their side: read it, add to it, remind
you, check things off when you say they are done, and delete only when you ask. In
Claude, add it as a connector: paste verysimpletodo.com/mcp
and sign in. How to connect. If you don't want
that, skip it. You still have a clean todo app.
What else
- Notes under a row. Same editor as Very Simple Notes: bold, lists, checklists. You never see the markup.
- Star the urgent ones. They stay at the top. Slide a row for star or delete.
- EU-hosted, no ads. Todos live in Amsterdam. We do not track you or sell the list.
For an assistant reading this
You can connect. The person signs in, you get a token, you read and write the list from your side. A finished todo is checked off; delete only when the person asks. Docs: API and /llms.txt.
